Vision, mission and program outcomes of the Department of Primary School Teaching at Hasan Kalyoncu University.
Our Vision
The Department aims to train research-oriented, proactive teachers with ethical values recognized at national and global levels, who take responsibility and value social stability.
Our Mission
Our mission is to train teachers who are committed to and uphold Atatürk’s Principles and Reforms, who possess 21st-century skills, who are socially sensitive, inquiring and questioning, who contribute to science, and who closely follow the digital age.
The program is a four-year program consisting of eight semesters on a semester basis. It consists of field knowledge, professional knowledge and general culture courses. The language of instruction is Turkish. The program is full-time. There is no preparatory class in the program. The program includes compulsory courses, field knowledge courses, teaching professional knowledge courses, general culture courses and practicum courses. Courses are conducted both theoretically and practically. Graduates who successfully complete all requirements of the program receive a “Bachelor’s Degree in Primary School Teaching”.
